So, after a long time I finally have the mood to make a review, haha! so lazy right?! Recently, I found out that I have a HUGE obsession on brushes, particularly on Real Techniques Collections by one the Pixiwoo Sisters, who's Samantha Champman. They were popular on YouTube, they do make-up tutorial and reviews also. I always watch their videos. She was so geniuse to came up with this brushes. I don't have brushes as many as other's have but I'm starting to collect a brushes. I have several of the Real Techniques brushes but i'll just start with the "Duo-Fiber Limited Edition Collection".
This review will illustrates whether you need to add this trio to your collections. Let’s start with what duo-fiber brushes are: in essence, brushes made with two different synthetic fibers to enable light application of product for a natural looking, airbrushed finish. Their base is of average density, the upper half of the brush fibers are fine, sparse and super soft.
If you imagine dipping a densely packed, firm brush into bronzer, then swiping it on your face, you can imagine how much product will adhere to the brush (lots) and how heavy the application will be (very). In contrast, the long, sparse hairs of a duo-fiber brush ‘stroke’ the surface of product and apply a gentle whisper of bronzer onto the skin, perfect for women who love the natural look.
The Real Techniques Duo Fiber brushes are extremely soft and gentle. Duo fiber brushes are meant to be soft; their purpose is to achieve a subtle, natural finish.
