It's more FUN in the PHILIPPINES: Surigao City Edition

Hello Bloggers!

So, this my very first formal post. Last vacation, summer 2013 month of April, we went to our closest places in our heart, which is Surigao City in Mindanao Philippines. Other people would normally go to Bocaray, which we cannot deny that it belongs to "PlacesYouShouldn'tMissBeforeYouDie" haha, but for me Boacay broke it shell from being innocent world going to a crazy world, meaning to  congested world. For me beaches are on the relaxation haven, but beaches filled with noisy people, irritating sound and drunk people it's not a place for relaxation anymore you should have stayed in Manila, right? (no offense :D). So why closest place in our hearts? because it's my parents' home town, but my sister and I born in Manila. Every time we go there, it feels like you never wanted to go back to a congested Manila where you supposedly stuck with.

Taken randomly. #boat #smile #coconut #market
Surigao City is a very beautiful place, it has many hidden God's work which you can be proud of as Filipino. Wonderful people, white beaches, historical places, hidden natures, food, the culture these are just the few thing you must know for not having any hesitation to go there.

at Lantsa(boat) going to Bucas Grande
Going to Bucas Grande Island was a very exciting experience for all of us. From Surigao City you're going to ride a tricycle going to the port of lantsa or boat. It's a more than 2 hours ride full of beautiful scenery. When we arrived at Bucas Grande, medium sized boat were picked us up to the registration area where pay an entrance fee and sign a waiver, from there we ride an individual sized boat going to the jellyfish area. These jellyfish were special species coz when you hold it doesn't make you feel itchy, and these species will only be found in the Philippines.

Bucas Grande
Story behind Bucas Grande Island:

"Bucas Grande Island has been laced by Mother Nature with relatively peaceful shorelines. The island has been known for its magnificent white beaches and for its carefree people. Being an island municipality, traveling by sea has never turned out as an option for its people but a way of living for them. Bucas Grande Island is a place which is an epitome of what a melting pot is. Its inhabitants are mostly coming from Leyte, Tago, Cantilan, Mainit, General Luna and other places of Visayas and Mindanao. Today, the melting pot character has been strengthened by the hundreds of local and foreign tourists which are flocking the place each year." (for the full story click here)

Meanwhile, after the Bucas Grande Adventure, we jumped to another island, the Sagisi Island. Perfect sunlight, blue water and white sand. It's far from Bucas Grande Island but near from the city.

Enjoying the moment and experience.

Would probably go back and fell in love all over again.
Thank you. :)
